Y’all today’s post is one I’m so excited about! I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while, and I finally got the chance. These Steve Madden sneakers are my go-to shoe this summer. There’s so many different ways you can style them — and did I mention they are super comfy? It’s pretty much a win-win. Keep reading to see two ways I style these sneakers!

A plain t-shirt, distressed jeans + sneaks is the perfect combo for a lazy day of running errands. Y’all know I’m obsessed with these distressed jeans from Old Navy (I only wear them in literally every other post lol). I paired them with this plain t-shirt from American Eagle that I got on sale for $8 (talk about a bargain.. I also picked up one in white too! You can never have too many plain t-shirts). As of late, I’ve been living in this navy blue bralette from Express. It’s a halter and it’s adjustable in the back — so it’s super comfy. For jewelry I added this suede and pearl necklace and I tied it to be a choker and then let it hang to show off the pearls. Ray Bans and my Longchamp bag rounded out the accessories and of course I added my Steve Madden sneakers to top it off!

My style has really evolved in the past year. This outfit would be something that I would have never worn last year, but I really loved how it turned out! I paired this striped dress with a plaid shirt tied around my waist. I’m wearing the same bandeau from Express for this outfit as well. For accessories, I layered my Kendra Scott Elsa necklace and my Alpha Phi bar necklace. My Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC went perfect with this look too! My Steve Madden sneakers perfectly added the casual cool vibe to this look.

Hump day celebration | LGIP Blabbers

I’ve been spending my days in norts and t-shirts, so I’ll take any excuse to get dressed up! Yesterday night  my gal pals and I got dressed up to celebrate to dear friends Maria and Elise birthdays (aka a hump day celebration)!

(Once again shout out to my iPhone for these fly pics)

We went to Caliente, our local Mexican restaurant for some bomb queso, chips and salsa (honestly I live off of that stuff). I ended up wearing this paisley Free People dress, and my OTBT Bushnell wedges (still obsessed y’all). Getting dressed up is one of my favorite things to do, so I thoroughly enjoyed last night being able to eat good food and enjoy some good company! Y’all can shop my look below:

I’m feelin’ 19 | Birthday OOTD

Happy Birthday to me! :) I had such a fantastic day yesterday with my friends and family. We ended up heading into NOLA for the day and met my Mom, Bruce and twin sister Reagan. We all ate lunch at Domenica in the Roosevelt Hotel. I split a Prosciutto pizza and some Squid pasta (sounds weird but soo yummy). We went to eat some desert in the Roosevelt after and to take some pictures of the whole group. Then my parents and Reagan headed back to Mandeville and the rest of us went to the Riverwalk. I literally hadn’t been there since seventh grade so it had changed a lot lol. We walked around and I ended up “treating myself” (I love Parks and Rec but mostly Tom Haverford) to a pair of Ray Bans on the discounted rack. They had a “defect” in them so they were on sale for $99! I normally NEVER pay full price for sunglasses so it worked out well! I am really into the brown lens with the black frame- I had never seen them before!

Once we left NOLA, we got some pizza (twice in one day I know) and then went out in Baton Rouge and it was such a great time! Thanks to my friends and family for making my birthday so special, I love each and every one of you!

Here’s some pictures of my outfit for y’all to see!

J Crew Waxed Jacket // J Crew Gigi Pants // We The Free Thermal // J Crew Vest // Tory Burch Boots // Ray Bans // Mini MAC // MK Sport Watch // Bauble Bar Tassel Bracelet

The weather yesterday was such a bummer because it was freezing. It’s been pretty cold here in Louisiana for the past few weeks… I’m not sure if I like it or not. For warmth, I went for layers. I borrowed this thermal turtleneck from Maddie, and I am in LOVE with it. It looks so cute with a vest on or even to wear it on its own with a long necklace. Over that, I layered my J Crew Excursion vest (shocker there.. Told y’all I was obsessed with vests). To top off my top half, I wore my J Crew Waxed Jacket. I talked about how much I love this piece in my winter essentials post so you can click for more deets. For pants, I chose my J Crew Gigi pants. These are seriously the freaking best. They’re a step up from leggings because they have stitching/piping on the back of the leg and they zip in addition to being a super stretchy and thick material.

To top off my outfit I wore my Tory Burch riding boots, and I carried my Mini MAC (fave crossbody EVER). For accessories, I wore my usual MK Sport Watch as well as my tassel cuff from Bauble Bar. Like I mentioned earlier in this post, I picked up a new pair of Ray Bans and I decided to wear them too!

What do y’all do for your birthday? Let me know in the comments below! Until Wednesday..

J Crew Herringbone vest // White long sleeve tee // Suede button-up skirt {similar} // Black booties // Mini MAC // MK Tortoise Sport Watch // Ray Ban Flash Lens Aviators

How adorable is this black and white look featuring my favorite fall/winter piece a vest? I have been known to be vest obsessed. I love a simple outfit with a vest as a pop. This herringbone one from J Crew factory took me FORVER to snag.

I paired it with this adorable little suede swing skirt with button detail, and a basic long sleeve tee. I love the simplistic look of this black and white outfit. I finished things off with my Mini MAC and black booties.

On a side note, how can I just say how excited I am for Christmas? I can’t wait to spend time with my family and enjoy some quality food!

Red Dress {last season TJ Maxx} // Mini MAC // Blue glitter Jacks // Multi-stranded Pearl Necklace // Ray Ban aviators // MK Tortoise Sport watch // Alex and Ani Bangle

Zach and I went to hang out today in downtown Cov (one of our fave places to take pictures) and the heat was sweltering. Like by the time we were done taking pictures, we were DEAD. Today’s outfit is another USA themed look (what is this.. my third of the month?! See the other two here.) I found this adorable shift dress at TJ Maxx (I couldn’t find anything like it online, so sorry y’all) and I paired it with the chunky multi-stranded pearl necklace. My blue glitter Jacks and my Mini MAC completed the look. Ugh, I felt so classy in it! The dress is the perfect length and I loved the pop of pearls.

On another note, did y’all notice my chop? I got about three inches cut off last week. I haven’t been able to play with it too much yet, so I’ve been rocking the straight look. Any cute shorter hairstyles y’all know of of? Let me know!
